...i just choose not to believe in religion itself or a set of rules used to govern my life. i don't doubt there could be a god, or doubt that there might not be one

agnostic vs atheist: i am scientifically-minded and to be atheist would be against my "beliefs" as a scientist.

i am my own god; i believe in myself and live by my own religion. if i was wrong all along and there happens to be a god when i die, i will not have done anything to piss it off in my lifetime, so i'm fine either way.

I have tried forever to force you to believe in God, Jesse!! Even telling you that God is going to smote you. But as long as you don't hate God and say he doesn't exist, im happy. P.s.- i heart you Jesse! Don't go to Japan! and if you do promise to say to them all, fogivaness, pleasuh!

I didn't say I AM god...just like if god was in control of people's lives...i'm in control of my life....OK It just sounded good in the sentence

I also chose not to believe in organized religion of any sort. But I chose that due to too many arguments as a child at family functions about who has the better religion....that and the fact that you see war everywhere and the majority of the time it is over religion and who's god is better than who's. So besides having wars that happen in my own family and other wars....and besides the fact that from what I remember of being forced as a child to go to church.....well I don't think any "God" or supernatural being should just let millions of people die over who's god is better! That to me seems nuts!!!
